Welcome to the Neighborhood Nature Project
What is the Neighborhood Nature Project?
The Neighborhood Nature Project is the educational subdivision of Naturally Wild LLC that aims to reconnect communities in urban areas with the natural world through culturally relevant curriculum, hands-on experiences, and programming that fosters environmental stewardship. By prioritizing the intersectional experiences of Black communities while welcoming all individuals, we strive to create accessible opportunities for participants of all ages to discover, appreciate, and protect their local ecosystems from an inclusive and intersectional lens.
Our Vision
We envision a future where communities of color are empowered to lead in environmental awareness and conservation by fostering strong connections to our local nature. By nurturing a sense of belonging in the natural world, we aim to inspire generations of environmental advocates to celebrate the biodiversity in their neighborhoods and work toward a more sustainable and equitable future.
